problem - groucho - 01-May-2024
hello,i have a devialet d200, everytime i configure a profile on my pc for it the amp does not accept it,devialet suggested a different sd card which i have done with same results,anyone fixed this issue thanks

Have you read the instructions on devialet website? Firmware? SD card type? Same laptop for sd card and firmware? First the basics....

Also it would be helpful if you could tell us exactly what the amp says when it "does not accept it".
Ironically I had exactly this problem, on reconfiguring, recently, with the amp saying "invalid configuration file, please contact devialet support".
On closer inspection the dp_cfg.txt was truncated at 2kb and it was not the usual ~22kb in size. So it certainly was invalid.
I carefully repeated the download process and then all was well.

You should also try to make a brand new configuration, as editing previous ones can lead to problems.
I was having problems with pre-out not turning on when i edited an older configuration.

it was a brand new config,size is 22kb, keep getting sd card error with 2 different sd cards

The SD card must be FAT, not NTFS.
You might like to try following the instructions in this thread: https://devialetchat.com/Thread-How-to-configure-your-Expert-Pim-and-Axel-s-method.
It's very important that there are no files (including "hidden" files) on the SD card other than the configuration file, which must be called dp_cfg.txt. Pim and Axel's instructions help to ensure that's the case.
Also, be sure not to modify the configuration file in any way - for example by opening it in a text editor and saving it - otherwise you'll invalidate the CRC and the configuration will be rejected.
