Audioquest Thunder

Here's a worthwhile upgrade to consider if you have Audioquest speaker cables with DBS.

Audioquest recently updated their Carbon DBS battery pack to a "DBS Level-X" with an improved RFI/EMI filter.

I use a pair of AQ William Tell Zero speaker cables which originally came with the Carbon DBS packs. I upgraded those with the DBS Level-X packs. Wow, there was a significant improvement, with the Level-X packs sounding clearer. It's like I upgraded the speaker cable.

IMO the speaker cables benefit more from the DBS Level-X than the power cords.
Also tested the Level-X packs on my AES cables, and they sound different there too compared to the Carbon DBS.

AQ also updated the Storm series power cords, and the newer revisions do not have the 'french braid'.

I just changed my power cords to a pair of new Audioquest Tornado's. These new cables also come with the new DBS Level-X packs. The new straight cable configuration is much easier to manage than the french braid one. I previously had a Hurricane with the french braid and it was much less flexible.
