Bluesound Node to stereo Phantoms
#1
Hello,
I've got two Phantom Golds in stereo configuration streaming mostly Tidal via Roon.
However, I've been thinking of ditching this setup for something like the Bluesound Node, which I would connect to the Golds via toslink, as I would like to utilize features such as TidalConnect. UPnP never worked reliably on me and I like Tidal's native radio etc. features.
Do you think this is a viable solution?
How would the Node connect to the stereo setup since it has only one toslink output and the "audio experts" I've talked to say that I would need two (!?) Nodes for stereo?

Thank you very much

BluOS can do Tidal Connect

Whoever advised you has never owned Phantoms. You will be feeding a stereo signal via optical to one of the Phantoms and it will play properly.

P/s Found UPnP to be reliable and sound quality to be the best.

Degene die je heeft geadviseerd heeft nooit Phantoms gehad. Je voert een stereosignaal via optisch naar een van de Phantoms en het speelt goed af.

P/s vond UPnP betrouwbaar en de geluidskwaliteit de beste.
