Stereo connection: WiFi + ethernet (Phantom-to-Phantom)
#1
Hi all,

I have a set of Silver Phantoms that live outdoors under a covered patio.  They have solid WiFi coverage but no ethernet access to the main switch.

However, it would be straightforward to connect the pair Phantoms together, directly to eachother, through an ethernet cable (one or both would still be connected over WiFi to the outside world).   Would this ethernet connection be advantageous?   I'd like to think it would aid in synchronization and overall robustness.

If yes, should it be a crossover ethernet cable or a standard cable?

Appreciate your inputs.

Hi, a standard ethernet cable between the 2 phantoms would improve the connection stability.
