UK Dealers
#1
Hi,

Just browsing some of the UK dealer sites today, and a lot of the original dealers seem to have dropped Devialet - including HiFi Lounge, MAX, Radlett. MAX cited lack of support and UK presence as the factors behind their decision. Not exactly good news.

For those in other markets, is anything similar happening?

On the face of it, that's not great at all.  Radlett stopped over 5 years ago as I bought my 240 from the when they did, but I think the others are more recent.  There are quite a few still offering Devialet though so may not be as worrying as it seems.

Dave at Radlett told me he stopped as his wifi doesn't work and he didn't understand the tech.

HiFi Lounge have a load more other brands.

KJWestOne have built a new Devialet room.

You can thank BREXIT for some of that... prices, especially for electronics, are now increasing at a rapid rate, with higher costs being blamed on shipping container prices hitting the roof and customs' measuring now being put in place at borders. With prices increasing at a marked rate, customers are looking elsewhere, buying products which don't necessarily give them the sound and quality which they are looking for, but which they can better afford.
