What can I say... It's magical. Probably one of the best sounding records I've ever heard. Simply amazing. But to the important part, the music. Ms Barber has an amazing voice, with kind of dark undertone, great for jazz. This is a jazz album, but also some kind of experimental album, with things that remind me of Laurie Anderson, and other stuff closer to Cassandra Wilson. Not the happiest record in your life, but neither a sad, depressing thing either. Really beautiful.

Would be great if we could get Cafe Blue on DSD in the UK!

I could only find CD quality when I was looking for it ?

I've seen it both at HDTracks and Acoustic Sounds. Got it at the latter.

Here's something a bit different but nonetheless very enjoyable. Indie, R&B, new wave, electro, hip hop...

Blood Orange - Freetown Sound

Streamed from Qobuz in CD quality.

Very nice, thanks. I also like "Between Us And The Light" - worth a listen if you don't already have it.
Rachel Sermanni "Tied To The Moon" (Qobuz)

Heard a track from this yesterday on the radio, then found the whole album on Qobuz today. It's been described as "folk noir" - a mixture of acoustic and more up-beat electric stuff; she has a lovely voice.
Wayne Shorter - Speak no Evil. 96/24

Top notch jazz.
