Ibeyi's 'Ibeyi'

Great recommendation! The kick drum in "River" is something else!  Tongue

Guillaume
one of the best (if not the best) group out there , wonderful album

Georg Breinschmid's Double Brein. Incredible and over the top (in the best way) acoustic bass centered jazz and classical compositions. Highly recommended. On TIDAL.

Roy Buchanan: When A Guitar Plays The Blues >> CD Rip

Awesome Blues and awesome recording

Give track #3: "Mrs Pressure" a go
Pixies "Surfer Rosa", Qobuz

Haven't listened to this for far too long - needs a bit of volume - cracking stuff!

ETA: occasionally NSFW (to avoid embarrassment)
I have to agree with Thumb, Surfa Rosa is a most splendid album, in fact "where is my mind" is currently top of my "played" count. The previous album "Doolitle" is arguably even better. (All the others best skipped, but that's just my view)
Doolittle is my favourite too.

Since it seems we appreciate similar music, Confused, are you by any chance a fan of Gang Of Four? Probably my all-time favourite band.
Gang of Four? Errrr, no, to be completely honest, I've never heard of them! I'll give them a try at the weekend though.
If you can find their albums Entertainment!, Solid Gold, and Content that would give you a representative selection, I'd say. The track "Anthrax" on Entertainment! was a single, and listening to "Vamos" on Surfer Rosa reminded me of it very much.

Hope you have chance to listen, and enjoy!
Malia - Convergence

Nice music, well recorded. Heard this first at amabrok's during the Streamer shootout.
