I love this thread! I've already discovered some new music that I really like; Ingrid Filter on piano, Goldfrapp, Buckethead. Recent evenings
da noi have included Nouvelle Vague and Delerium, CD's ripped as AIFF and streamed. Nouvelle Vague do non-traditional covers, and Delerium is and electro-lounge/ semi gothic assembly.

Super, fun album. Superb musicianship - boogie re-working of Mississippi blues favourites including terrific guitar riff on 'Po Black Maddie'
Love it, thanks!
How about this one as quid pro quo:
JJ Grey "Georgia Warhorse"
Not as upbeat, but similarly swampy.

I'm pleased you like it. Thanks for the recommendation - spot on - I love swampy
and was listening to JJ Grey only last week.
For a dirtier sound you could try The Black Keys "Thickfreakness" or maybe even Left Lane Cruiser "Junkyard Speedball" or the Black Diamond Heavies.

Time to get into the off-beat. A bit of ska-core to keep the neighbours up: Subb, The Motions, streaming a ripped CD.
