It's a solidly built machine, and a lot cheaper than a Clearaudio and it does what it's supposed to do.
The motor turning the record goes both clockwise and anticlockwise, so you can really clean from both directions. The vacuum is pretty powerful, after about two turns the record is as dry as it gets. You have to let it dry up completely for a minute or so before playing. I couldn't see any residue after drying. I suppose the most important bit is the cleaning fluid itself. The Okki Nokki comes with a small bottle concentrate which you have to mix with 1 liter demineralised (hope that's a correct English word) water. After washing with this cleaning liquid the record has a sort of wet look, even though it's dry. Also there is no more static discharge when you put the record back in it's sleeve. The only minor bad point is the noisy vacuum motor. Great machine, and I'm very pleased with it.
