Vote for Devialet's best attributes (and via another thread for their worst attributes) - up to three choices

(I would have like to have included more and/or refined options but the limit is 10)

I decided to exclude sound quality as (1) it can be regarded as a consequence of one or more of the attributes and (2) probably everyone would vote for it.

I also decided to exclude value for money as that is usually a function of personal disposable income.
I ticked 'Innovation / Excellence' as the box for 'sound quality'.

I do like the look but would have been just as happy with a boring old black box.

nothing at all wrong with a meticulously well-tuned, boring old black box ;-)
Innovation / Excellence for AHD and update potential, such as the addition of SAM
SAM of course
AIR would have been my third choice but it simply isnt reliable
Sound, which isn't an option.

+1

But why would sound be important in an amplifier - much more important things to moan about.
The continuous developement of functions and performance,
SAM,
its' versatility
great design

That is the things that comes to mind regarding the things I appreciate with my D250...

Like others, I have ticked Innovation/technical excellence to cover the sound quality, which I love.

I also like the remote and the phone app.
The transparent sound. Everything else is either irrelevant (most firmware changes) or an unexpected (by me) bonus. I have never owned an amp where expecting updates was either part of the purchase decision or expectation. The Devialet is no exception.

The only other big deal for me is having a volume knob on the remote rather than up/down buttons. Much preferred.
Compared to offerings by other companies the Devialet system is an absolutely wonderful sounding, fully configurable, good looking, efficient, multi input steal at the price and is without doubt the best amplifier I have ever come across in my apparently amplifier starved life so far.
