Dear Fellows,

I'm looking  for a new turntable. I have Clearaudio Emotion (Mc Concept carthridge), which is for sale. Have you listened to any combination of turntable with devialet 200? Any suggestions? I'm interested in the following models (based on reviews). I'like to listen to Jazz, Vocal Singers and Classical. My Speakers is Sonus faber Olympica 2
1. Clearaudio Performance or Ovation
2. Vpi Classic 3 or 2
3. Vpi Prime
4. Bauer dps 2
5. Rega rp 10
6. Sota Cosmos (used)
7. Audiomeca Pierre Lurne J1

Any other suggestion?

Thumb 5
I'm very happy with my Wilson Benesch Full Circle, which I've had for many years although I only use it infrequently these days as I've digitised all my LPs.  Last year Wilson Benesch released an updated version (http://wilson-benesch.com/products/full-circle-range-2) that might be worth a look/listen.  I have no idea of the price, by the way.

[PS: this might be better placed in The Vinyl Thread.  This part of the forum is for suggesting improvements to Devialet's products, I think.]
I would stay by Wilson Benesch - one of the best you can get for your music

Rega RP10 + Rega Apheta 2 moving-coil cart sounds amazing through the Devialet 200 (built-in phono stage)!

When going through the Devialet Configurator, select the Rega Apheta 2 cart, keep all settings but change the Loading to 100 Ohms.  Also, under Advanced Settings, set Auto WIFI Standby to ON.
Bauer dps 2 - best choise
Next - Vpi Classic
What happend if you / me Don,t. Set Auto WIFI stand-by to On ?? What is the different if it is OFF.
I have a VPI Scout II with a Lyra Delos MC.... I'm using the Devialet 400 / internal phono and happy with the cartridge configuration suggested in the configuration for this element.
Has anybody listened to this models by comparison? What's are the differences?
I think you already have a good short list of turntables.  In fact, the list isn't that short!

One suggestion I would make is to take a look at the Pro-Ject Signature 10.  I know Pro-Ject have a bit of a "king of budget turntables" reputation, but do not let that put you off, the Signature range is very good by any standards.  (I much preferred it in comparison to a top spec Xerxes, amongst others)  In the UK the Sgnature 10 is offered with an Ortofon Cadenza Black for £1000, which makes it a bit of a bargain.  (Relatively speaking)  Although I have no idea if such an offer is available where you are.

Of those on your list, I have listened to the RP10 with a Devilalet.  For me, I preferred the Pro-Ject, very coherent, with particularly solid bass (one aspect that really differentiated it from other options).  Having said that, looking at your music preferences, I think that you may well like the RP10.  The RP10 was just about the cheapest deck I auditioned but for detail extraction, timing etc the thing was outstanding.

Have fun auditioning!

Unfortunately, I can't listen to most of the turntables apart form Clearaudio and Project. So I have to depend on reviews and yours suggestions

Some people have reported noise/interference when left to OFF.

For myself, I did hear like a slow "heartbeat" sound (very faint but audible at higher volumes) during quiet passages on some records and since I've set it to ON, I never heard it again.
