We have new version of AIR

"Update on 08/12/2016

Dear Friends,

Today we are happy to announce Air 3 Release Candidates for both MacOS and Windows. Our engineers have solved almost all known issues. Some are still hard to reproduce, like random installation problems or disconnections on Windows and sudden drops on MacOS. We could really use your help to test thoroughly on all platforms and versions.  Please download and install for your system. We really value your feedbacks!

I removed the prior beta & RC versions and let the last RC version (3.0.2 for Windows & 3.0.1 for MacOs)"

About time Devialet engineers wake up ...

Last evening for the 1st time in many weeks had bad issues with AIR-3 on my mac running roon ... and was forced to opt for USB.
no issues here with Windows 10, working absolutly stable so far. But the problem that the default audio driver in Windows is always set to AIR is still there.
Just tested on Mac. There is still lots of crackling noise, interferences in Wifi Mode with high resolution files. Non Wifi Mode (Lan Cable) works well.

Am glad to hear that LAN mode (Ethernet) works well on the mac ...

apparently - this was bugging me as of yesterday ...
Just installed 3.0.2 works just fine bit so did 3.0.1 on my Win10 computer.
After installation of AIR 3.0.1 on my mac, using on ETH, its fine EXCEPT couple of times still experiencing track skipping ...

The AIR 3.0.1 was installed and the " Target device buffer = 1000 ms " as per default condition. Any suggestions ??

Will be carefully watching for couple of days now ...

PS : wished the dcS Bridge was priced better for a 'no-nonsense plug-n-play approach' utilising the AES/EBU input on the Ds thats supposed to sound better ...

Installed 3.01 after removing the 3.0 but had to reinstall the 3.0 after listening 30 minutes to internetradio. Sudden drops all the time, not so with  3.0, but it happens. Source Mac Mini late 2012. Audirvana 2.6 brings soundproblem listening to DSD tracks.
Did about 15 back and forth tests between Win 3.0.1 beta vs 3.0.2 RC and in all cases I preferred the sound quality of 3.0.1 beta.
More airyness, warmer bass, more decay & better soundstage. Subtle difference, but I prefer 3.0.1 beta.
Seems like 3.0.2 is too controlled for my system.
Had my friend blind test it twice and he described the same on the bass and the airyness.
Anyone noticed any differences as well? Or is it all suggestion?

Luckily they didn't fix my remaining bug, so no harm in using the previous version...
In Devialet Help Center have said when launching this version:

"Theses RCs are focussed on the white noise and sounds delivery, all others aspects are not covered yet (DSD, Screen size, etc..) but are still in progress from our side. As soon as the CORE functions are close and delivered as expected we will dive into other aspects pending.

This is the final stage before issuing the final release."
