Hello forum members!

Greetings from Singapore. Long time reader - first time poster! Really enjoy reading the perspectives and appreciate the expertise of the forum members here!

I've been contemplating for a while now to upgrade to a Devialet deck but am a little confused about some of the model names. Specifically, I can see that there is a current Expert Pro line which includes a 130, 220 and dual mono configurations. I have also seen a 250 Pro in some literature also. Are there material differences (outside of output) of the 220 and 250 Pro models? Reason I ask is I can find some 250 Pro models used for a fraction of the price of a new 220 Pro model here in Singapore.

Any advice is gratefully received!
The 250 Pro is "a half 1000 Pro", so two 250 Pro make up a 1000 Pro. It's cabinet is is a little bit bigger than the 130/220 and has better cooling properties. The 250 Pro is not sold separately by Devialet any more.
The electronics inside the amps (ADH, Power supply etc.) is identical. The current upgrade program replaces all internals to the new v6 hardware. As the inside is the same the sound should be too, but for some reason it isn't.
A 250 Pro is a very good amplifier. If you can get a 250 Pro for a better price than a 220 Pro, go for it! Keep in mind that a 250, 240 and D-Premier are older models which can all be upgraded to 250 Pro.

As a 250 Pro owner, echo ogs comments fully. Truly an audio treat!

I traded the D200 in for a D250 last summer and loved the "Upgrade"!

I was hesitant to spend another $5,000 Canadian on an upgrade so soon after but bit the bullet and went for it. The 250 Pro is a whole new level, extraordinary in my humble estimation.

Check that it's definitely a 250 Pro, and not a 250..... if it is, and you like how it sounds, go for it!

I agree.  The used market can be risky in terms of product naming.

Current product line: D130 Pro, D220 Pro, D440 Pro, D250 Pro, D1000 Pro

I saw a "Devialet Expert 200 Pro" advertised on Audiogon.   When probed, it was clear that it was the older 200 and not a "Pro".
Thank you for your replies all!
Just to add some clarity to a point made earlier, stating the 250 Pro is not sold separately. The 250 Pro is indeed absent from Devialet's website, but it does still exist as a separate model. List price in the UK is £12,490 for the master and £11,490 for a companion.
