Dear All,

Hope someone can help me with a problem.

I have a D120 and have been using it almost daily for the last year to stream music from my NAS using iTunes on my Mac and Devialet Air.

Today I updated to new release 10 firmware and suddenly Ethernet was no longer working. I can select "My Devialet-ETH" in the Devialet Air settings and the music stops playing on my Mac but doesn't come out of the D120. When I open settings in Air I can see the volume following correctly the remote control and it has the correct IP address and MAC address, there is nothing to suggest a problem.

When I try and stream some music from my iPhone using the app it doesn't work either, in that any commands I make in the app are not sent to the D120, however any commands from the D120, such as volume changes using the remote or source switching etc are sent to the app and show correctly.

I have tried to downgrade the firmware back to 9 but that didn't make any difference. I have booted my mac and reset the Devialet but still no joy.

Anyone come across anything similar before?

Thanks
What version of AIR are you using?
That's a puzzler alright. I wonder whether there's an IP address duplication or something of that sort? Have you tried re-starting your router (I assume that's where the Dev is getting its address from) to flush out any stale DHCP leases? That doesn't sound very likely to me but I'd probably give it a try...
Did you create a new config file after the upgrade?
Thanks for the replies chaps.

1. The problem started when I was using AIR Ver 2. After the problem popped up I updated to AIR 3.01RC and problem didn't change.

2. One of the first things I checked was a duplicate IP address issue (was also grasping at straws) and that wasn't it. Have given the router a reboot but still no joy.

3. I am created a new config (using the same configuration from the configurator as before) but just downloaded a fresh copy and added it to the SD card when I updated to Ver 10. That did not cause the problem as I put the old config back and the problem was still there.

What its really weird is how the iOS app is only getting info one way from the D120 and not able to send data back to the D120.
Are you turning on your Devialet or Mac first?

I would suggest - that you shut down the Mac, NAS, Devialet and router.

Reboot router.

Then turn on NAS.

Then turn on Devialet.

Then turn on your Mac.

Download the program Lanscan to your Mac, it is free.

Run Lanscan, verify the router, NAS, DevialetĀ and Mac show up and jot down their IP addresses.

It would be helpful if you could post the IP addresses for each of them if things still don't work after this experiment.

And to verify Devialet, Mac and NAS, are they all on ethernet, or just the NAS and Devialet?

I have had the same thing happen with the android app, it's some form of network problem. As suggested, reboot everything, that fixed it for me.
I've had something similar happen on Windows. I managed to sort it out by selecting control panel sound settings and switching to internal speakers and then back to Devialet AIR. Apologies if this is nothing to do with your problem.
