Are there professional reviews? RE: Bryston - Sobert - 27-Jun-2015 Customers... It's just been released so I guess no professional yet RE: Bryston - Sobert - 27-Jun-2015 It's just possible to upgrade BDP-2, not BDP-1 RE: Bryston - Sobert - 27-Jun-2015 http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?board=57.0 Great place for Bryston stuff. Devialet could really learn something from the Canadian as they are active on the forum discussing with the enduser RE: Bryston - miro - 04-Jul-2015 (27-Jun-2015, 15:59)Sobert Wrote: It's just possible to upgrade BDP-2, not BDP-1 So, are you updating yours? Post your impressions here, if you do. Thanks. First impression is that is was worth the money! Let us know more details when you have more time to listen to it. Are you doing this comparison with an AES/EBU cable? How about the performance with USB streaming of DSD64 files? RE: Bryston - Sobert - 07-Jul-2015 USB input in not changed, only aes/ebu and bnc RE: Bryston - miro - 07-Jul-2015 (07-Jul-2015, 19:54)Sobert Wrote: USB input in not changed, only aes/ebu and bnc BTW, you should also update the fuses---see the info in my post #6 in this thread. That company gives a 2 week trial period, in which you can return the fuses. You will likely experience a further improvement. Are you using an internal SSD by any chance? |
