Hmmm, the crates say "Made in France" so it appears they are not the original shipping crates, since all Vivid speakers are made in South Africa. On the other hand, the crates look quite substantial to protect your speakers!

Magico is i think also an magical combination. What i like very much about the Vivids is there clear and open mid and highs without sounding harsh. Like a friend of mine said they have the qualities of an planar speaker. They make you really drive into the music and enjoy it. The bass is of good quality with good detail and layering also.
