They did it, now the Marten Django XL are SAM ready After installation and four hours of listening the major improvements are : - A better 3D image , better spatialization. - A tighter and cleaner bass - A more relaxing listenning session. This even if the Marten Django XL are already great speakers (From my point of view one of the best ration "Price/performance" on the market today) If you compare with & without SAM very quickly you can immediately feel the difference, but the real advantage come in long listenning sessions, where you feel more relax and happy at the end. Sorry that's not an audiophile description but that's mine. Cheers Yaduvent RE: List Your Speakers and Devialet Model Here - Charlemagne - 06-Oct-2014 Devialet 250, upgraded from a D-Premier and Dynaudio Sapphire, being a special limited edition jubilee model from 2007. Sounding great, even without SAM. How do you find your C60's respond to an 800? Did you try a 250 first? Very interested in reading your comments. Cheers lots, Bill RE: List Your Speakers and Devialet Model Here - Nemal1 - 19-Nov-2014 I use devialet 400's with a pair of Martin Logan Montis fed by an Esoteric K-01x and macbook Air (via USB). The turntable will have to wait until next year! The turntable will have to wait until next year! Very nice. How much of a step up is it from 200 to 400 with the Montis? I was thinking of trying a 400 a few months ago, but a house move got in the way. Matt RE: List Your Speakers and Devialet Model Here - amabrok - 19-Nov-2014 * Devialet D200 (soon to be D400 - next week actually) * Martin Logan Electromotion ESL (to be upgraded to either ML Montis, WA Sophia 3 or B&W 802) * Vertere Pulse C cables RE: List Your Speakers and Devialet Model Here - Nemal1 - 20-Nov-2014 I only had the 200 a short time before buying the 400, and it's just coming on-song now (the whole system is new) with the dynamic contrast improving with each sucessive disc, so am pretty pleased with it. I will try and take some pics this weekend and upload RE: List Your Speakers and Devialet Model Here - brit - 20-Nov-2014 400 + Wilson Benesch ACT1 speakers, and very good it sounds to! David RE: List Your Speakers and Devialet Model Here - Charlemagne - 20-Nov-2014 May I suggest that you henceforth post a pic of the speaker? I'm always curious how they look like. Google (picture) search is help full in this regard to find and post the link. Mostly they're giving an indication of the size. To post a picture click on the picture sign on top of the text editing screen of the chat forum. Copy/paste the link in the pop-up screen that appears and it's done. Be shure the picture is not oversized. In the preview post this can be checked.
