Thanks, ozthepoz. Great recommendation and I concurred with your observation.

CD rip (JVC HDCD) of "Belafonte at Carnegie Hall".

An absolute masterpiece, not only for a 1959 recording but, especially, for today's standards even when compared to audiophile labels.

David Bowie - Young Americans (Vinyl)

Try to sit still with this one!

Leftfield - Alternative Light Source.
Fav track today - biolocation. Addictive.

Was quite into Leftfield back in the day (mainly non vocal ones), but not heard them for a while. This track through headphones just got me hooked again.

The live version of Leftism 'Tourism' got a hood thrashing through headphones and in the car this week. Love some of the overlaid additional sounds there.

"Himmlische Stunden, selige Zeiten"

Performers: Miriam Feuersinger - Capricornus Consort Basel
Composer: Christoph Graupner
Label: Christophorus

Incredible performance of some of Graupner cantatas. Very interesting to hear them performed by a lyrical soprano.
