ZZ Top "La Futura" and "Tres Hombres".

Hardly hi-fi, but a lot of fun!

Ricercar recordings are on offer (20% off) on Qobuz!!

About 15 years ago i bought the CD "O Lusitano" - circa 1500 / Gerard Lesné. This recording sparked my love for Spanish & Portuguese Renaissance Music. I still listen to this CD a lot. Yesterday while looking on Qobuz through the Ricercar catalogue i found this gem. Recording quality is superb and performance is among the best i heard in this genre.

What!!   I thought I was the only one who still listens to this stuff!  Perpetual Dawn and Little Fluffy Clouds are like old friends to me.  Fabulous!

I bought it for Perpetual Dawn. It also has one of the longest song titles known to man.
"A huge ever growing pulsating brain that rules from the centre of the Ultraworld : live mix mk 10".
Phew !!!!! :-)
Still got the sticker on it £15.99. A lot of money back then in 1991

I love this to, and my double vinyl version still has it's "Special Classical Pressing" sticker on it.  No idea what I paid for it, but I bet the vinyl version was over a fiver cheaper than the CD.

Finally got all my music onto my new NAS drive. :-)

Hello Eddye,

The more I listen to it, the more I like it : the sound is great, and the backing vocals are absolutely stunning. Joe notched up the bar on this one. I have the cd ripped but the vinyl is certainly a must have.
Regards
