RE: What album are you listening tonight? - Silvertouran - 19-Jun-2016 The Classic album SO by Peter Gabriel. Sort of slow moody rock. RE: What album are you listening tonight? - Seb310 - 19-Jun-2016 (19-Jun-2016, 18:23)Silvertouran Wrote: The Classic album SO by Peter Gabriel. I'm a big PG fan , even if, in my opinion, all his albums are not always well recorded. Anyway, I think So is a very good album, and the 2012 remastered version give another experience. Enjoy ! RE: What album are you listening tonight? - Mka - 20-Jun-2016 Something totally different, tune it in on Qobuz and you will be surprised! RE: What album are you listening tonight? - Bartype - 22-Jun-2016 Alisa Weilerstein - Dvorak (Classical) Alisa's superbly performing Dvorak's Cello concerto. It is a great listening on the SF Olympica II's i still have on audition at home! Also you want to look at the cover art on a big screen :-) RE: What album are you listening tonight? - Confused - 26-Jun-2016 I needed something to cheer myself up this morning.... So today its 'Tokyo Ghetto Pussy's' 'Disco 2001'. This is a hard one to describe.... The last word in techno cool? Far from it, it's really cheesy Eurodance techno of the worst kind, but created brilliantly by the genius Markus Loffell (the 'Spoon' in Jam & Spoon'), who died way too young maybe ten years ago. Great stuff! I suspect most folk on here would hate it, but if you don't take it too seriously it's great hard core techno fun! I am sure that Mr Mark Spoon wasn't taking that seriously when he created it to be honest, so one to play only if your in a frivolous mood, and a frivolous person in general. RE: What album are you listening tonight? - Mka - 26-Jun-2016 booklet.pdf (Size: 875.3 KB / Downloads: 6) Schubert: Complete Works for Violin & Piano : Julia Fischer & Martin Helmchen they are a real dream team! RE: What album are you listening tonight? - PhilP - 27-Jun-2016 Albert Mangelsdorff - Tromboneliness Super album = never heard anything like it before. Truly amazing what this guy can do with a trombone Streamed from Qobuz RE: What album are you listening tonight? - thumb5 - 01-Jul-2016 Bill Bruford's Earthworks, eponymous album One of my all-time favourites - very approachable contemporary(-ish) jazz. Lots of variety on this album, which sounds as fresh to me now as it did thirty years ago. My favourite track at the moment is "My Heart Declares A Holiday".
