RE: What album are you listening tonight? - f1eng - 02-Nov-2017 Grace Jones, Nightclubbing - but using a valve amp and old CD player and horn speakers. RE: What album are you listening tonight? - K4680 - 03-Nov-2017 Hendrix, just loud! RE: What album are you listening tonight? - K4680 - 04-Nov-2017 After almost 50 years, Black Sabbath 2017 celebrated their final farewell to the music world. The British heavy metal legends, however, do not go back without looking back to their work, for example with "The Ten Year War". RE: What album are you listening tonight? - tom539 - 05-Nov-2017 Simply beautifull: And awsome SQ too... RE: What album are you listening tonight? - thumb5 - 07-Nov-2017 Echo & The Bunnymen "Heaven Up Here" (LP rip) A nice slice of 1980s nostalgia. Haven't listened to it for a while, and the production quality is pleasingly as clean as I remembered. RE: What album are you listening tonight? - thumb5 - 07-Nov-2017 ..swiftly followed by Happy Mondays "Pills 'n' Thrills and Bellyaches" (LP rip) (Beats reading Quentin Sannié's open letter about the Core Infinity software, anyway...) RE: What album are you listening tonight? - thumb5 - 10-Nov-2017 Wolfgang Muthspiel "Rising Grace" (Qobuz) Shock, horror: an ECM album on a streaming service! Actually I was tipped off to look into this by a report on the Roon forum that ECM albums are showing up on Tidal, which after a quick look seems to be the case also for Qobuz. That would be a big turn-round -- and gives me quite a bit of catching-up to do! RE: What album are you listening tonight? - thumb5 - 11-Nov-2017 No one else listening to anything these days A Perfect Circle "Thirteenth Step" (Qobuz) Discovered this by accident, and liking it very much so far. Vocals by Maynard James Keenan of Tool fame, but this is generally rather more melodic and easier on the ear. Super production and recording. RE: What album are you listening tonight? - K4680 - 11-Nov-2017 Ghalia & Mama’s Boys "Let The Demons Out" The Lady, and Louisiana's hottest R & B band, resistance is simply pointless. Download: HighResAudio / FLAC 96 RE: What album are you listening tonight? - tom539 - 11-Nov-2017 Some of my 45er-Vinyls... Nice Weekend to all of you |
