Steven Wilson "To The Bone"

...again, I know. But after seeing him play this live on Thursday night (Coventry, UK) I had to immerse myself in it another time. A complete joy.

Amazing line-up with Oleta Adams, Phil Collins, Manu Katche and Pino Paladino

Play it loud...  Big Grin

I was also listening to this earlier, and had to laugh at Kieth Jarrett.
We all know how Keith sometimes likes to sing along with his lines, but now is sounds like he’s using a “swazzle”, making him sound like something out of a Punch and Judy show.

Like nearly everyone I used to be annoyed by Keith's vocalisations as he played until a few years ago when I bought the DVD of his "Tokyo Solo" recording. What you don't get on the recordings is the facial contortions as he's making all of those vocal noises and I came away thinking that the facial contortions looked worse than the vocalisations sounded. His vocalisations haven't bothered me as much since I saw that DVD because I now know what I'm glad I'm not getting on the recordings.

The Doors
Strange Days (50th Anniversary Expanded Edition) (Remastered)
Ominous, beguiling ... with such words, critics used to call the melodious, cross-genre sound of the psychedelic era of the Doors. A mix of blues, Asian influences, classical and pop-fueled hits such as the bluesy "Love Me Two Times" or "People Are Strange" on the Doors' second album, "Strange Days". (HRA)
