Some masters that no longer exist : https://www.nytimes.com/2019/06/11/magazine/universal-fire-master-recordings.html?smid=nytcore-ios-share
Thought it could be an interesting read (ironically posted in this thread)

Time Out - Dave Brubeck (remastered)

Finally ventured into jazz with this and a few other of his recordings. What a super listening experience!

That's a good start for getting into jazz. Listen to Brubeck's composite meter, like quintuple chords. Very fancy! Also the recording is great, I have a 24/192 re-master that sounds really really good. BTW there's a re-make of Brubeck's most popular pieces played by the Feen Brothers, great stuff (Feenbrothers Play Dave Brubeck https://www.soundliaison.com/index.php/453-new-the-feen-brothers-one-mic-recording). Also listen to their 'Unsquare Dance' at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=92h_GJnHiGI
