RE: What album are you listening tonight? - f1eng - 07-Dec-2014 Carpenters, Gold - Nostalgia **2 Flac rip from Meridian Control 15 RE: What album are you listening tonight? - Tony - 07-Dec-2014 Mike Westbrook's Citadel / Room 315... a classic British Jazz album with the unique John Surman. Tender Love and Outgoing Song, both featuring Surman are just fantastic pieces of music. RE: What album are you listening tonight? - thumb5 - 07-Dec-2014 (07-Dec-2014, 15:19)LBameule Wrote: @thumb5, please do so. They've made more albums with out Fish than with him, and Steve's playing is wonderful whoever sings. Try a song called "Easter"... Thanks, I will do! Currently listening to: Pierre Bensusan "Intuite", via Qobuz. (Thanks to Thierry at Devialet for this suggestion.) RE: What album are you listening tonight? - PhilP - 08-Dec-2014 I've been working my way through Richard Wagner : Der Ring des Nibelungen, Sir Georg Solti but its difficult to find time when I can concentrate for long enough to really get into it. I may have to save it for evenings when everyone else is out. Streamed from Qobuz RE: What album are you listening tonight? - amabrok - 08-Dec-2014 (07-Dec-2014, 23:41)thumb5 Wrote:(07-Dec-2014, 15:19)LBameule Wrote: @thumb5, please do so. I may have to save it for evenings when everyone's out. I am doing the same - streaming via Qobuz - the remastered version has improved the sound. I have also ordered the blu ray audio disc. RE: What album are you listening tonight? - PhilP - 09-Dec-2014 For those looking for something Christmasy I would recommend Jazzy Christmas - Live in Sassari, Paolo Fresu quintet. A bit corny but beautifully produced. Streamed from Qobuz. RE: What album are you listening tonight? - amabrok - 09-Dec-2014 Eric Bibb: Jericho Road (24bit/44.1khz - Qobuz download) special mention, Drinkin' Ground and Freedom Train good sound quality as well RE: What album are you listening tonight? - MusicLover - 09-Dec-2014 Patricia Barber's "café blue".
