Instead of an ethernet input, it should have a USB input (or several of them), so that users can plug in USB sticks and/or hard drives with music, and a control app can select which album/files to stream. Also, it should be designed in a way that eliminates the need for an audio regen step. RE: When this is released i think i will retire my audio pc - completeluxury - 30-Jul-2015 too complex? its a renderer. it takes a lan input and has a usb output. its basically a dedicated pc with no unnecessary components in it whatsoever!! and there is no way to eliminate the need for a regen - its helpful for almost every system. RE: When this is released i think i will retire my audio pc - GuillaumeB - 30-Jul-2015 I like the look of this. Combine with a reclocker and you could be off to the races! Combine with a reclocker and you could be off to the races! Again, the designers of this device should design it, so that there is no need for a reclocker, or for the reclockcer to be already built into the design of this device, in order to keep the path very short. RE: When this is released i think i will retire my audio pc - completeluxury - 30-Jul-2015 perhaps it should also be the amplifier.. and the speakers?? Yes, Devialet should add a module that will allow a user to plug in a USB stick or hard drive, and then use the control app to select what to play from that usb stick / drive, eliminating the need for an external streamer!!! Devialet, are you listening? RE: When this is released i think i will retire my audio pc - Dr Tone - 30-Jul-2015 I want the Devialet to be an endpoint at most not a computer with a control app. There are many awesome software solutions out there already. Devialet just needs to fix their crappy Air implementation!! I think this little device looks fantastic!!! RE: When this is released i think i will retire my audio pc - Antoine - 30-Jul-2015 Very interesting, I'm going to follow the developments round this little device. Thanks for sharing completeluxury!
