I have also three Esprit-Volta (2 for my D800 and one for the main chord from the wall socket.
I confirm also, despite it is expensive, the SQ is considerably improved. This cable was design and test especially with a devialet, specific screen have been chosen.
The sound is more fluid and like more natural. I have made a trade-off with Nordost power cord in the same range of price. The Nordost was very good but the Volta is much better. At least 100 hours are necessary for break-in.
The cost but also the benefit is similar to a change of electronic !

wow ! 3 Volta = one D200
But I met some people with high end cables who think it worth the money rather than buying more electronics.
