RE: Speaker Cables - mauidan - 20-Sep-2014

Anyone using network cables like the Transparent or MIT with their Devialet?

RE: Speaker Cables - Morten - 20-Sep-2014

Yep I use a MIT shotgun S1.3

I haven't tride anyone else, I already had it when I bought the Devialet

Kind regards Morten

Morten,

Thanks for the reply.

I'm currently using MIT Magnum M1.3 speaker cables.

My dealer said a cable without a network might improve the performance.

RE: Speaker Cables - Morten - 21-Sep-2014

That is interesting, did the dealer elaborate?

My cables is around two years old, it replaced some cheaper xindak cables, on the existing set up (Plinius SA-103 and PS audio perfect wave mk2) it was significant improvement.

I must admit I am puzzled if there should be any reason that Devialet should not work well with network cables? Perhaps it only have an impact if you are using SAM?

Kind regards Morten

The new Transparent cable generation 5 seems really interesting, I bet they're a great fit with Devialet!

RE: Speaker Cables - Petter - 22-Sep-2014

will also mention the Kubala Sosna Emotion cables, used by Devialet in different shows

Best i have tried so far,not that i have tried hundreds but this one is up there

My dealer pointed out that Devialet monitors what’s going on at the speaker terminals, and a cable network might be interfering with that process.

I'm not a huge fan of networked cables but that sounds like utter BS to be honest.

I'm betting this was a dealer that doesn't sell networked cables.

Hi there I understand Transparent have a new generation of cables shortly to come out. Any chance we could get a bit more details + also some more specific recommendations based on what your customers are using?

Thanks!
