Apple have a bit of a history of only addressing problems when they're mass-shamed by the media or faced with a class action suit. It seems logical to me that if Devialet continue down their current path, the petition may turn into a starting point for class action.

Air's complete uselessness has a direct and measurable financial cost to all of us who've had to pursue an add on solution in order to stream. Core functionality sold to us by Devialet.

'A Devialet user has started a petition which is currently doing the rounds on audio forums and press, and was borne out of his frustration with AIR being faulty for two years, and Devialet's complete lack of transparency and communication about the matter. Anyone having suffered AIR issues should sign.'

Anyway, checking Devialet's website, they have deleted this post.  So at least that tells us that they are reading it!  They can't delete the Zendesk trail though can they?

To be fair, I am guessing that this is simply a case of a Devialet employee getting a Zendesk notification, thinking 'ummm, this doesn't look good' and deciding to go in the system and delete.  I suspect this will be a talking point at the Devialet office water cooler in the morning.  Some have voiced the opinion that this petition is a waste of time, but if it is being noticed at Devialet at any level, if it just starts creeping into their thoughts, it can only be a good thing I think.

What a sad bunch over there in France.
Well done to all over here so far! Good to know we're not on our own...

Great post, I think you hit the nail right on the head! Smile

It would help both them and us so much if they'd choose to communicate and interact with us. I'm seeing more and more companies having a knowledgeable representative active on one or more forums. It creates a lot of goodwill and mutual understanding.

Signed. Since I cannot get stable high-res over WIFI AIR. It's better over Ethernet, but AIR always introduces delay (due to buffering), so I'm currently using USB.

French version. Any native speakers who want to proofread ?

Just Sign,

I think they should open source the API / Protocol to communicate with their devices, it would solve a lot a issue...
