Hi,
Despite the claims in the resent updates, i still hear occasional crackling noise coming from the Phantoms when i connect the optical cable via the Dialog.
When i use the optical port on one of the Phantoms everything is fine.
DOS on both is 1.9

I have the same.
Sometimes a light crackling noise.
And also sometimes a drop-out.
I mailed Devialet, but they give no reply...

After some more testing, yes, i have the dropouts too.
Really frustrating
When i play a very low bass sine wave on my synth, the crackles are very obvious due to the lack of high frequencies in the sine wave.

I have the same problem with my Phantom Gold... did report it and was told it should be fixed in an update mid December. it is very frustrating.

No crackling here but dropouts are worse after the last update, pre update the dropouts only happened with the optical input now they happen with streams from tidal and deezer as well

I think we all should replace our Dialogs with the newer ones.

Yes noticed crackles last night watching a film for an hour happened 4 or 5 times and a couple of half second drop outs. Obviously more noticeable with films than music as I thought it had gone too!
