After setting a VPN on my iPad to make my system think it is in Western Europe and then changing all of my power cables and putting in new electrical sockets, plugging my Dialog, Phantoms and router on a single power plank and then upgrading my Ethernet cables as you collectively kindly recommended, I have finally been able to download the new firmware, install it and after a few reboots, managed to get my system running in stereo.
Well now I am happy and relieved and enjoying great sound. Now I just have to find the perfect placement to give me a great sweetspot.
Thanks guys, I really appreciate the help which got me there in the end. I have already emailed the team at Devialet to let them know that I am now in business and a happy customer.
All the best and now to figure out how to activate the ninety day free trial of Tidal that I have. I have spotted Angenets advice on it but I can't quite work it just yet.... next challenge to overcome.
