Canton Reference k - Nickyrboy - 03-Mar-2017
Hi All
Does anyone have any experience with Canton Reference k series speakers? I heard a pair of the reference 7k over the weekend and was very impressed with their sound particularly the clarity and top end. I wasn't able to hear with a devialet and this was a one off event and no Canton dealers anywhere near me so won't be able to see if they work well with my 220pro or not but I was hugely impressed with them. Anyone any experience or think it might be a good match?

I was very interested in Canton Reference, too, but unfortunately there was no opportunity to listen to them "live" (partly due to Covid, partly the dealer did not respond and i was kind of tired of searching new speakers, yet. Reference 3k/5k would have been the final choices).
Reference 5k seems to offer a great deal of value for the money. Rather close to Reference 3K (i.e. there has to be a very good amp to unleash it's potential).
Personally, i like the design of 3K+ very much ... in contrast to my wife. In the end Dali Epicon 6 made it for my Expert 200.
