So I have been using the Isotek Premium cables with my D400. Not very impressed with them, hence moving to the MCRU 27 cable. Hope this is not a sideways step.

I am now using TFCS-PC with my D200. What a nice performance it is! Both sound stage and space atmosphere are rich and well-balanced in my room. Every pitch and note are so beautiful as poem. I've never heard that melody before. It is just like you are in a live concert.

Please precise the brand for TFCS-PC. Have a link ?

Eventually decided to go with the tried and tested TCI constrictor power cables (silver plated), going to replace the Schurter iec with the Furutech FI-15(cu). It is a shame that Furutech does not make a straight copper UK plug, the only one I can find is an angled one. Does anyone know of an alternative UK plug of similar quality as Furutech?

So it turns out that the Expert 1000 pro comes with AudioQuest NRG-X3. A 1.8m wire costs £85, so if my maths is correct that is £170 for the two units. However the retail price for a Expert 1000 pro is £22900. Owning a D400 myself makes me feel that Devialet would want me to spend at the maximum £85 on power cables. Or spend £170 and get the Audioquest, if it's good enough for their top of the line product it should be just fine for my D400. Or does it say something about the new power supply? Maybe it's so good that it does not require £1000 power cables. Although if that would be the case then why even include Audioquest cables in the first place? Just an unbranded black cable would have been fine.

The NRG-X3 is a good looking cable. Unfortunately I believe it is no longer available in 1.8 m lengths, which probably means Audioquest are going to replace it with a new model. Perhaps Devialet purchased a load of stock at a bargain price !

Unfortunately I have not had a great experience with Audioquest power cables. Purchased Audioquest NRG-10 for my D200 and the IEC connector was not a good fit. It did not form a proper connection with the Devialet, hence the amplifier would not power up at times.

I have been using NRG-X3 for a long time and I have no issue on fittings. Performance wise, I have not really spent enough time to listen for any differences with the original stock power cable.

Did you have the Audioquest in place when your filter board on the D200 malfunctioned?
