RE: Integrating Roon and Dirac Room Correction - ogs - 29-Mar-2022 @bpo Flex and SHD are similar in that parametric EQ and X-over is supported in both. Dirac is included with SHD but optional for Flex. Also, Dirac for Flex is 24/48 but it is 24/96 for SHD. DDRC-22 is Dirac only at 24/96. The biggest issue with DDRC-22, however, is that it is a fairly old design that may not be on the same quality level as the newer models. If it continues in the product line it should probably have a lower price. The 24/48 Dirac cap in Flex is not a real problem as Phantoms run at 24/48 anyway, but the PEQ can be very good to have dealing with speaker/room irregularities in the bass region. Maybe Flex is a good choice if you can get hold of one... |
