Nice, clean internal layout Thanks for sharing. Looks neat indeed. The 100s ( i.e. X100 and N100) are the designed for USB DACs where as the 10s and 20s (i.e. W20, S10 and N10) are for more premium DACs with the conventional inputs. You should not worry about the HDD as they are there for storage only whereas the actual playback is from the 240GB SSD Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk RE: -=Aurender=- - PhilP - 21-Jun-2015 I always worry about HDDs The earlier info that Aurender distributed on the N10 indicated 1Tb SSD. Maybe they decided to move to an internal HDD for the same reason that they introduced the N100H - some customers will never be comfortable using AMM on a Mac/PC and a NAS? Nice, clean internal layout The X10 will only accept 2.5" HDDs. It is my understanding that nothing greater than 2Tb is available. I wonder what the design process was. -=Aurender=- - amabrok - 21-Jun-2015 (21-Jun-2015, 15:47)rwjr44 Wrote:(21-Jun-2015, 09:33)PhilP Wrote: Someone has posted photos of the inside of the new N10 over on Computeraudiophile. True so far it is @ 4 TB (2x2TB) but I guess in the future (and this is a wild guess) there would be N10 models with 6 or 8 TB Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -=Aurender=- - amabrok - 21-Jun-2015 On a side note, I'm happy to report that Aurender Tidal integration had improved a lot. Sound quality now it's getting closer to Air Wi-Fi. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -=Aurender=- - amabrok - 26-Jun-2015 Actually the excellent integration of Tidal with Aurender is making me reconsider my SQ assessment of Tidal. I always thought of Qobuz as a bit superior in terms of SQ but i seriously think that Tidal and Qobuz are both on par. RE: -=Aurender=- - cc1 - 28-Jun-2015 http://www.computeraudiophile.com/content/651-aurender-n100h-music-player-review/ Positive review of N100H on CA. Very tempting indeed!! However, it's a bit annoying that he states that he's listened to the S10 & W20, writes loads about he feature differences (which you could work out for yourself), but doesn't mention if they sound any different. Slightly frustrating ..... |
