Otto Klemperer recorded a mighty version long ago which bears no relation to the style of performance we hear today. He looks gothic!
Ah, Harry, I'd actually been looking for a particularly gothic version of Mozart's Requiem. A few clicks and I've picked one up on the net (1987 Karajan, re-released), it better be good, serious cash spent. (£6)
