Setting up Benz Micro Silver
#1
Dear Devialet Friends. I am a newbie to vinyl and bought a project classic. Recently I replaced my cartridge with a Benz Micro Silver. The silver is a MC cartridge which can be used on a MM phono stage.

Using the expert configurator and selecting the cartridge the values 200 rms and high ohm output are used and their is massive distortion

Based on this I configured the cartridge as a MM with rms 2.0 and 100 ohm (maximum setting is 120 according to Benz Micro website). There is no distortion anymore but have I done the right thing or am I completely of track.

Below are the settings from Benz Micro
Benz Micro Silver MC Phono Cartridge Specifications

Your help is always much appreciated.

Arjan
