1000 track playqueue limit
#1
Hi.

Has anyone found a way around the 1000 track playqueue limit of Spark ?
A very arbitrary limit to impose..

Not an answer to your question but why not split your list?

Well, it's a workaround Smile
Want basically to be able to set it up to play without (much) human intervention.
Not sure how you guys are using Spark, but couldn't find a way to create playlists, so the only playlist is the main one, and to have lounge-setting playlist, want to add some 60-70 hours of music into the list and not touch it forĀ a few days..
The possible solution is to work directly with the sqlite database, might just as well do that, and maybe release some utility for others to be able to do that..
Or maybe Spark devs will remove this limit, which is a very strange thing to have - database is not limited in any way, and the UI uses paging, so doesn't really care about amount of songs in the list, so no technical reason for that.
