The Uptone has some sound thinking behind it. This looks like a Jitterbug alternative (albeit with rather more esoteric 'engineering')

The basic concept of the key is reducing the high frequency crap travelling from the computer to the DAC is fair enough but all the rubbish around the bog wood...

Lessloss filter are based on skin effect and therefore basic physics. I have some of their power filters and they work well but I got them as plain boards.
The balancing act in designing USB connections is reducing of high frequency noise without reducing the rise time of the signal (which would increase jitter).

Yes i understand the concept of skin effect and how it's used here .The marketing rubbish gets in the way of the basic message on the website. No need to dress it up.

Asked Louis, the USB firewall key only filters the 5v leg, not the data pair. Since devialet doesn't take the 5v, I doubt it will be that useful
