Devialet 200 and Graphic EQ
#1
Greetings Guys.

Lets see, I'm planing to add a Graphic EQ to the Sound Chain (purist audiophile considerations apart please). I allways liked the features and sound control that these devices can deliver.

Problem is that the Dev is a "closed" Amp, and I can't access the built in preamp output, to insert the EQ there. (correct me if I'm wrong please)

So I'm planing to insert the EQ on my Rega Aria phono Preamp Exit, and feed a "line in" input on the Devialet.

Something like this:

[Turntable (Rega RP10)]----[Phono Preamp (Rega Aria)]----[Graph EQ]-----[Devialet line in]

What do you think guys? is this possible?

Note: About the GEQ model I'm considering this one: Rane DEQ 60L

Many thanks.

I'm concerned about the output levels of the EQ, maybe it would be too much for a line-in input in the Devialet? Should I adjust the gain of the line-in, in the configurator maybe?

Why not do the eq digitally say in JRiver?
