Scratch removal from Devialet 250

Did you guys really get a new frame only for 300 eur?

I thought the 250 was a solid block which could be polished up?

The 200 is plated I think.

If you can get a new case for 300 in any currency, I'd take it!

Bearing in mind the electronics are identical in a 200 and 250, yet the price is about double, a case at £300 would be the bargain of a lifetime.
I'm guessing a new 250 case would be much more. Or maybe they prefer Devialet's to not look dented in people's homes in case it puts of peospective buyers.

Of course if you upgrade your 250 you get a free polish.

That's what I thought first. But apparently, in my case at least, they recommend changing the whole frame. Price a modest 3000 euros.
