I really dont know why they changed it but I suppose they had to change something so you can see that it is a Pro.

Thanks for posting! Does the remote look the same as before you sent it out, or has it changed in any way too?

No it looks the same but it feels different when you turn the knob. It is not as smoth as it was before and the volume is not as stable if you lower the volume it can go up a bit and then down. I mostly use my phone to control the amp so no big deal for me.

Is the same on/off button the same for the 220 Pro & 250/1000 Pro? I thought the 250 Pro button is white... Definitely don't like the look of the 220 Pro button, not an improvement over the black one.

My remote felt a bit stiff when it was returned after the upgrade, but after a bit of use, has smoothed out nicely. I don't suffer from the volume instability and the slight detent that I mentioned in a previous post has disappeared.
