I had a listen to the Tidal MQA files - very impressive. However, it is difficult to make proper comparisons (at least in the Classical music genre) due to the very few albums available in the format and the obscurity of the performers - I came across one old Karajan recording which I did not like at all.
The real test will be to listen to a modern recording, by first class performers and in the different hi def formats.
On another point however, is that I had absolutely no problems in streaming these files with my relatives poor ADSL broadband connection, which sometimes struggles with streaming CD quality albums.
