220 Pro with USB generates kernel panic in coreaudio on Mac
#1
Hi,

After the upgrade 120->220, my iMac gets a kernel panic and reboots nearly everytime I turn on my 220.
My workaround is to go into sleep modus, start the DEVIALET and wake the iMac when the 220 is half way up. Alternatively I unplug USB at the iMac, which also isn't nice to do all the time.

Has any of you the same problem?

Greetings,
Krisp

Boiled it down to not being a hardware problem. I booted from an external drive with a different image and everything is fine. Must be one of the various audio related tool since it panics in coreaudio. I got Airfoil, Bitperfect, DEVIALET Air installed.
Will update if I find out.

The newest Mac OSX 10.12.4 has got that fixed, so no more unplugging to prevent reboot when the Mac is not in sleep mode.
This is the first time that the crash reports to Apple seem to have been noticed and immediate action has been taken.

I often got troubles combining Bitperfect and DEVIALET Air, it's either one or the other. I prefer the latter.
