A Synology DS218j 2-bay disc station with 2 x 6Tb Seagate Ironwolf drives
This unit is kept at my neighbours house, in his strong room and has a shielded Cat6 cable about 35m long to my MacBook
I also back it up and this drive stays on my desk.  It is compatible with Apple Time Machine, which is the main reason I got this one.  It transfers at approx 28mb/sec
