Or have they made the same mistake again and made them un repairable in case of damaged drivers / failed electronics?

I believe nothing’s changed. That’s the same speaker as before from a structural and business concept point of view. You cannot order parts to replace it or ask to replace parts. Just exchange with a new unit in case. So far after many years nothing critical has happened to me. The secret....do not move them too much !
