Is Air working
#1
Hi got my Expert in 2015 and gave up on Air moving to USB. But wondered if Air is finally working? Is it time to give it another try!

Yes, definitely. Mine was fine with Version 3.x on Windows, and if you use Roon, then RoonAir seems pretty solid too, especially with a wired connection.

Roon AIR is totally solid. Devialet AIR v3.0.4 works reasonably well but I still had the occasionally glitch when last I used it. Once Roon integrated their own support of AIR, I totally quit using the Devialet app. Of course, if you're not using Roon, then Devialet AIR is it. I do think AIR sounds a bit better than USB so it may be worth giving it another try and comparing it to your USB implementation.

Have no problems with wired Devialet AIR on Windows10 (ASRock BeeBox) for over a year. Last month switched to RoonAir - and also no problem.
