Thanks for the quick news. 
If so, does it mean that we can use dante equipment from now on? 
Has anyone ever updated to this version by dante users?

I'm waiting to see how stable the update is... My setup (DOS1, Optical Direct, Dante) is way to stable to upgrade at this point to mess with (any issues will anger the boss of the family).
6 x Phantom Gold, 3 x Phantom Silver, 2 x Phantom Classic, 9 x Phantom Reactor 900, Symetrix Radius AEC-2, 2 x JBL Synthesis SDP-55, Dante

Can you remind me as to what the benefits are to upgrading to DOS2, assuming it doesn't 'brick' the Phantoms.

The old adage of "if it isn't broken why fix it" springs to mind.
No benefits at all, just a temporary cure for my upgradius nevrosa.

I updated, there is nothing new but the 5 button click for reset does not work anymore! Are they planing to move the reset to the App?

I found this Date connector...

...this seems to be specific for the Phantom's....anyone with experience with Date "systems"...? With an adapter like this can I connect my Streamer Toslink to this adapter and then directly to the Ethernet port on my Phantom? Can I connect to a network switch instead? Do I need any sw to configure stuff...? 

My use case is more connect everything over Ethernet and stop using the Toslink connector...I don't have issues with latency, etc...

My old remote needed to be paired again after the 2.11.2 update, but no issues so far.
