That makes total sense.. Big Grin lol.. I was actually in dialogue with the support at Devialet trying to get replacement for my "Older one" as that one seemed "faulty" after getting the new one and seeing the vastly lower temperatures and power consumption.. I measure only about 10W in idle on the "new one" while my older Gold runs at ~40W or so.. and about 50% hotter.

I got one of my Golds replaced in December last year. I just checked and it is way cooler on the back than my old one! Does this really mean that it might have the new processor?

Try and compare the boot up time with the older Gold. Think you might be supprised  Big Grin (plug them both in a power strip with switch to turn them on simultaneously).

One other thing worth mentioning.. I have also noticed that the model no. on the box changed from ZP496 to MX207. This already made me suspicious. When I tried to setup a stereo pair with a "old" and "new" Phantom, I also noticed a difference in sound. The volume of the newer Phantom was slightly louder, resulting in a distorted balance/soundstage. Just something to be aware of..

Looks like ARCH is indeed a phono stage, but a WiFi phono stage! Very interesting. Scroll through all of the pictures and read the specs. Smile

ARCH is also the cheapest accessory Devialet has ever launched. Only 349 NOK, or 34 Euros. I just ordered, and got Feb 8th as delivery date.

(UPDATE) Looks like i got a very special price, as Devialet didn't convert EUR to NOK. Let's see if they honor the price:-)

Thanks!
But how do I turn them on again without using the button at the back of the speaker?
