Online Reseller for the US model? (Like Colette.fr for the French model)
#1
Hi guys looking to buy a Phantom Silver, I was going to order it from Colette.fr but they don't have the US version.
Is there another online retailer that would have the Phantom US model?
Thanks,
Alex

I saw on Twitter that this dealer in Atlanta has the new US spec Phantoms in stock. https://twitter.com/sands_gallery/status...6442694657

There is no US version or Europe version. All phantoms are the same guys.
All you need is to buy the relevant cable, i.e US or schuko plug power cable

That's a total of $430 savings for a Silver stereo + Dialog setup, if you get free shipping promotion, otherwise, around $400 savings. Not bad.

Thanks!

Is the 20% discount something that they do always for new members, or is it timing luck?

Have you noticed any "hissing" from Phantom? Tongue Sorry, but seriously, it's a trending thing in this forum this days Big Grin

How were the shipping packaging/delivery conditions? Excellent quality?

The 10% off for members is always available. The additional 10% appears to be available very frequently. I've received a few emails for the 'additional 10%' promotion even after my 1st order.

Delivery was first rate. I paid extra for two day UPS which cost me a total off around $50 for two Phantom Silvers and the dialogue.  I don't think MoMA provided any additional packaging but the original packaging is put in a heavy cardboard box with a plywood bottom and foam top. Within the original packagIng there is even more packing material. I wouldn't hesitate to order anything from MoMA again.

I have not heard any hissing but admittedly have not had much time for critical listening.  Had some networking issues that others have been having but got it all worked out. The quality of the software is nothing like Sonos - interface, but more importantly how well it deals with complicated networking set ups. But remember that Sonos has more than 10 years experience on Decvialet.

When I get a chance I'm likely to use a a Sonos Connect as my primary source because the interface is solid and Deezer has a lossless exclusive with Sonos. Will use my computer as network source only for HD audio files because Sonos does not support HD audiom.
