Optical input - use Ethernet to connect stereo pair
#1
My streamer outputs optical to Devialet 3.5.  Would it make sense to complete the stereo pair by connecting left and right via Ethernet? Thanks for any input!

Ethernet is always the most reliable

Sorry for the delayed response. So can I connect optical to Phantom #1 and use Ethernet between Phantom 1 & 2 to join them into a stereo pair? This seems odd to me but my audio store suggested it. I can’t see how Phantom 1 would talk to phantom 2 via a cable.

Thanks

You have to pair the speakers in the Devialet app, and the speakers will sort out everything else by themselves. An ethernet cable between the speakers should help if you are experiencing drop outs etc.

Glad to help! Devialet has made a YouTube video on how to pair two Phantom II, and made the video private so no one can watch it. Fabulous!
